Our Approach
At Raising Gabdho Foundation (RGF), we take a holistic and integrated approach to environmental conservation, ensuring that education, awareness, and community engagement are embedded in every initiative. We recognize that empowering individuals and fostering accountability are key drivers of long-term sustainability in reforestation, waste management, land restoration, and climate awareness.
Our Interventions
Environmental Education & Awareness
We actively engage children, teachers, local authorities, CSOs, farmers, communities, and private sector actors in environmental education and awareness programs. Through a variety of interactive and participatory activities—including roadshows, theatre, sports (orange economy), school clubs, community meetings, radio programs, brochures, training sessions, apps, and social media campaigns—we equip communities with the knowledge and tools to drive environmental sustainability.
Additionally, we establish and support environmental clubs in schools, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship among students through practical conservation projects and experiential learning.
Waste Management & Circular Economy Solutions
🌳 Tree Planting & Reforestation
RGF integrates tree production and reforestation into agribusiness promotion and forest protection initiatives. We plant trees in schools, household gardens, and public spaces, particularly in urban areas, to restore land, combat deforestation, and raise environmental awareness.
💧 Water Bank Protection & Land Restoration
We implement water bank restoration and erosion control measures to safeguard critical water resources. Our initiatives also support land recovery for agribusiness, bee conservation, and biodiversity protection, ensuring sustainable land use and resilient ecosystems.
Driving Impact Through Global Goals
Our environmental initiatives contribute directly to key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 15: Life on Land – Reforestation, land restoration, and biodiversity protection.
SDG 6: Clean Water & Sanitation – Protection of water banks and sustainable water use.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production – Waste reduction, recycling, and circular economy practices.
Join us in building a greener, more sustainable future—one step at a time.
