RGF’s Gender-based programming

RGF works to promote gender equality  and address gender-based disparities and  inequalities by conducting a deep understanding of the social and cultural factors  that shape gender norms and roles, and how  they intersect with other forms of discrimination, such as race, class, and sexuality.  So as to address the underlying causes of  gender inequalities and promote women’s  empowerment and rights. We use various strategies like promoting  women’s economic empowerment, improving access to education and healthcare,  addressing gender-based violence, and advocating for an increase of women’s participation in decision-making and leadership  roles using a collaborative and participatory  approach that engages a diverse range of  stakeholders, including women and men, civil society organizations, and government  agencies.

Gender mainstreaming is important in designing projects because it promotes gender equality, social inclusion, and better project outcomes. By incorporating gender considerations into all aspects of project design, implementation, and evaluation, projects are more likely to be effective,
